Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SnipSnapp ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

License Grant

YouMeApps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SnipSnapp for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Subscription Terms

Free Tier

• Unlimited clipboard history storage
• On-device AI transforms (requires macOS 26+ with Apple Silicon)
• Basic features

Pro (Lifetime)

• iCloud sync across devices
• Cloud AI with your own API keys
• All current and future Pro features
• One-time purchase

Purchase Management

• Purchases are managed through your Apple ID
• You can restore previous purchases on any device signed into the same Apple ID through Settings > Upgrade > Restore Purchases

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

1. Use the App for any unlawful purpose
2. Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
3. Circumvent subscription or usage limits
4. Use the App to process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
5. Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
6. Share your subscription with others
7. Use automation or bots to interact with the App

API Key Responsibilities

When using cloud AI with your own API keys:

1. You are responsible for securing your API keys
2. You are responsible for all API usage and associated costs
3. You must comply with each provider's terms of service
4. We are not liable for API key misuse or provider policy violations

Third-Party Services

SnipSnapp integrates with third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms:

• Anthropic Terms of Service
• OpenAI Terms of Use
• Google Terms of Service
• xAI Terms of Service
• OpenRouter Terms of Service

Intellectual Property

SnipSnapp and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by YouMeApps and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

1. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
2. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
3. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months
4. We are not liable for data loss, security breaches, or third-party service failures

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YouMeApps from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Data and Content

1. You retain all rights to your clipboard content
2. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any content through the App
3. We do not claim ownership of your data
4. You may delete your data at any time through the App

Updates and Modifications

1. We may update the App with new features, fixes, or changes
2. We may modify these Terms at any time
3. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
4. Major changes will be notified through the App or App Store

Termination

1. We may terminate or suspend your access for violation of these Terms
2. You may stop using the App at any time
3. Termination does not affect subscription obligations or our rights

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which YouMeApps is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
