On macOS, SnipSnapp first asks for clipboard monitoring consent inside the app before it starts saving clipboard history. macOS may also show a pasteboard-access prompt the first time monitoring is enabled.

On-device AI uses Apple's built-in Foundation Models on supported Apple Intelligence devices to transform your clipboard content — summarize, translate, rewrite, fix grammar, and more — without sending it to a cloud AI provider. This feature is included at no extra charge.

With Pro, you can add your own API keys for Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google Gemini, xAI (Grok), or OpenRouter. SnipSnapp supports separate text and image-generation provider settings, models, and keys. Your keys are stored securely in Keychain, and the selected key is sent directly to the provider you choose when you use Cloud AI. SnipSnapp does not add per-request cloud AI charges. Go to Settings > AI to configure it.

With Pro, enable iCloud Sync in Settings. Your clipboard history will sync across all your Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account. You can optionally add password encryption for an extra layer of security.

Go to Settings > Upgrade > Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. Pro is a lifetime one-time purchase that works on all your devices.

Yes, by default. Clipboard history is stored locally unless you enable iCloud Sync, in which case it is stored in your private CloudKit database. On-device AI stays on the device that processes it. Cloud AI only sends the specific text you choose to transform, and only to the provider you select. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

You can delete individual items by swiping left on them, or clear all history from Settings > Clear History. If iCloud Sync is enabled, deletions will sync across your devices.
